Turbo aids...

....my car haz it. Well, had. New T28 back on finally, after much jiggery-pokery thanks to the old turbo I had turned out to actually be a T25G, duh. New FMIC and split elbow too thanks to Kev of Scottish SXOC fame once again!



Few more bits and bobs still to do for a trackday in a few weeks at Crail, not least sort the turbo water feeds... appears we cracked one fitting it, baws. Also finally some mild arch-smashing to come soon seeing as my tyres finally arrived!

My First Drift Day

Well yesterday I attended my first DWYB at Santa Pod. I have to say it was the most fun I have ever had. I was really bad at first and kept spinning out, but after a while I got the hang of it. I am still learning but it was so much fun and definatley doing this every chance I get. I can do small technical drifts (around cones) but the big stuff I still struggle and have major issues switching directions (could do with some pointers Jord)














Absolutly epic day and I loved it. Was brilliant weather, apart from when I got up and it was thunder storming!

MOT soon

Wish me luck! Alistair just did my turbo gaskets. We fitted a janky-old tubular manifold at the same time. Also fitted a decat silencer, and I heatwrapped the whole lot (including the donwpipe). Car sounds pretty nice now. He also fitted my HKS Hipermax Pro coilovers. The car is transformed. So basically, I'm happy. I just hope the MOT man is next week. Everyone book your cars in to Unit18 Automotive, Alistair is a quality mechanic!

I also removed my grill and plate. Looks better without the plate, but not sold on the grill. Will need to take more pics and decide. Opinions more than welcome!

I'm torn.

From the back, I love my car on the Work wheels.

From the front, I hate it.

I am swapping the set I have for a set in 18x9 +6 and 18x10.5 +5 with more dish than mine. I will see if I prefer them.

Maybe things will change once I have overfenders, I can lower my car alot more then and see if they look better.

For now, I'm taking them off, just not feeling them.

If anyone has 17x9 Eurolines/Viennas or similar they would like to swap for 18x9 please let me know. I want stagger.

Happy. Thats with 3mm front and 5mm rear spacers. Needs smaller tyres - 225 front and 35 profile maybe?
